AMX Computers is located 40mins North of Auckland, New Zealand on the stunning Whangaparaoa Peninsula and Hibiscus Coast.
We are committed to providing quality IT Services and Sales to small business and Home Office and Home Users. We pride our selves on being able to talk to our customers in plain terms explaining what is happening every step of the way in a friendly, down to earth manner.
We offer a broad range of Computer Related services as a strategy identified by AMX Management which means we can offer a more complete solution to our customers. As a Microsoft Cloud Partner, We offer Microsoft Office 365 products as well as the more traditional Computer and Laptop Repairs, upgrades and sales, Printers, Computer parts, Virus and Ad-Ware removal, small office net works (wireless or wired), backup solutions, new systems, Computer and Laptop Servicing, call out services, Insurance reports and more!
AMX Computers Ltd has no commercial premises and associated overheads, so we are able to offer a quality service at better rates than some of our larger competitors.
AMX's ORIGIN
Jason Willis started the business in 2004, trading as AMX Systems and PC Services.
Initially Jason started his career in 1985 as a fitter turner, in mechanical AND manufacturing engineering achieving Advanced Trade.
With the advent of CNC (computer aided machining), Jason's focus shifted from engineering to computers, database development and computer aided drawing (CAD).
Jason started working for Pacific Steel in Otahuhu ultimately ending up in the position of Drawing Office Supervisor. Working closely with the IT department he put in place electronic drawing access to the 3 business units via an intranet web based database and drawing viewing platform.
Whist at pacific steel, Jason attended numerous courses including Diploma In Business Computing, Excel up to VBA, Access up to VBA, Visual Basic programming, Business Communications, Sales, Comptia A+.
The AMX Computers Ltd name was originally put in place because of the association with the Motor cross (MX) sport and development of Motor Cross Club Management System. This system was developed with help from the Rodney Motorcycle Club committee and its members.

The owners here AMX Computers Ltd are born and bred in New Zealand and as such we believe it is our responsibility to foster and promote work and business habits that protect and where possible enhance our environment.
When we sell you a computer, we take your old one, break it down into basic recyclable elements and every component is taken to the appropriate authorised recycling centre at no charge to you.
At our cost, we stock pile our e-waste then personally deliver it to the appropriate recycling organisations. We all have to do our part in the fight to keep our incredible country green, our air clean and ours seas blue!
